À propos de Gaston Turgeon
Born in Montreal, son a of preacher-man, Gaston Turgeon was touched by the love of the Savior at a tender age. The music associated with his beliefs has led him to play the piano within his church community for more than twenty years. As a youngster he began studying music and eventually graduated from the Vincent d'Indy Music Conservatory in Montreal. His incredible touch on piano brought Gaston to play for and with some the best christian recording artists and worshipers in Quebec, such as Reynald Wiseman and Stéphane Quéry, just to name those ones.
In 1990, Gaston played the piano parts on Luc's third album: "Que fais-tu du Crucifié?" Luc truly enjoyed Gaston's heart and also his great contribution on it. It's nearly ten years later that they met again, and Luc asked Gaston if he would accept to record his softest songs recorded between 1984 and 1992 on a piano solo album. Gaston accepted there on the spot ! The result ? SELAH Volume 1
The SELAH Album has allowed Gaston to grow wings as he flies towards new horizons on the music & ministry scene. If you love tenderness and a sweet breeze from above ... you will not only love this SELAH album, you will want to A new talent to watch for... absolutely!
